OPENING SOON
Terms & Conditions
A legal disclaimer
At Snoot Social London, your dog's safety, comfort and welfare always come first. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms.
Â
Appointments & Cancellation
Â
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arrivals over 15 minutes late may need to be shortened, rescheduled or cancelled, and the full or partial fee may still apply.
We require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice or missed without notice may incur a charge of up to 50% of the booking fee. Deposits are non-refundable in these circumstances but may be transferred when sufficient notice is given.
A 50% deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
Â
Pricing & Additional Charges
Â
Prices are based on your dog's size, breed, coat condition, temperament and the time required. Additional charges may apply for severe matting, excessive coat preparation, challenging behaviour, additional handling or significantly extended grooming time. We will discuss significant additional charges wherever reasonably possible.
Matting
Â
Your dog's welfare always comes before appearance. Severely matted coats may need to be clipped short where brushing or de-matting would cause pain or distress. By booking, you acknowledge that a significantly shorter groom may be necessary.
Removing severe matting can reveal pre-existing skin irritation, sores, lumps or other conditions, and may cause temporary redness or sensitivity.
Fleas, Ticks & Parasites
Â
All dogs attending the salon must be receiving appropriate flea, tick and parasite prevention and treatment.
If fleas, ticks or other parasites are found, we may stop or modify the groom and recommend appropriate treatment before your dog returns. Where appropriate, a flea treatment may be carried out. Additional cleaning and sanitisation charges may apply.
Vaccinations & Health
Â
All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations appropriate for their age and veterinary advice.
Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, medication, injuries, behavioural concerns or recent veterinary procedures before the appointment.
Dogs showing signs of contagious illness, including vomiting, diarrhoea, kennel cough, ringworm or other infectious conditions, must not attend.
Welfare & Behaviour
Â
We use gentle, welfare-focused handling and will never compromise a dog's wellbeing to achieve a particular style.
We reserve the right to pause, modify or stop a groom if a dog becomes excessively distressed, unwell, aggressive or unsafe to groom.
Emergency Veterinary Care
Â
If your dog becomes unwell or requires urgent veterinary attention while in our care, we will attempt to contact you. If you cannot be reached and treatment is considered necessary, you authorise us to seek veterinary care on your dog's behalf. Veterinary costs remain the owner's responsibility unless caused by our negligence.
Collection
Â
Please collect your dog promptly once notified that they are ready. Late collection may incur a charge of £10 per 15 minutes, or part thereof, unless otherwise agreed.
Right to Refuse Service
Â
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where necessary for the safety, welfare or wellbeing of your dog, other animals, clients or our team. We may also decline future bookings following repeated no-shows, late collections or inappropriate, abusive or threatening behaviour.
Photography & Privacy
Â
Photographs or videos of your dog will only be used for promotional purposes with your consent. Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
